CCP hat EVE Online: Incarna 1.0 veröffentlicht, die 14. kostenlose Erweiterung für EVE Online. Die ersten Schritte zu Avatar-basiertem Gameplay stellen einen Meilenstein dar, auf den EVE Spieler und Fans lange gewartet haben und der dem virtuellen Sci-Fi Universum umwerfende 3D-Avatare beschert.

Incarna 1.0 fügt den Raumstationen in allen 66 Weltraumregionen die Kapitänsquartiere hinzu. Dabei handelt es sich nicht nur um Informationsknotenpunkte für Piloten, sondern auch um das Zentrum ihrer Macht und ihre ruhigen Rückzugsorte. Ein kurzer Fußweg vom Schiffshangar birgt dank eines neuen UI Interfaces in Form eines großen Holoscreens zahlreiche Informationen. Incarna verstärkt die EVE Erfahrung und bietet denjenigen Spielern, die ihren Ruf, der oft mit Erfolg gleichgestellt ist, auf den Identitäten ihrer Charaktere aufbauen, ein tieferes Eintauchen in die Spielwelt.
