Nintendos Next-Gen Konsole
Die Wii U kommt 2012

Die Gerüchteküche kochte bis zur letzten Minute. Project Café, Wii 2 oder Wii Stream waren die Namen, die in den Raum geworfen wurden. Einige waren mehr als seriös und hielten das große Geheimnis von Nintendo am Leben. Heute war es endlich soweit, Nintendo hat auf der E3 in Los Angeles die neuste Konsolengeneration offiziell angekündigt. Der Untergang für die leistungsschwache Wii, die schon vor vier Jahren schlecht in der Kritik stand, ist vorhergesagt.
Das Namenskonzept von Nintendo
Orginiell und bis zum Schluss behielt der Japanische Videospielehersteller Nintendo den Namen der neuen Konsole für sich. Dann veröffentlichte der Chef von Nintendo America, Reggie Fils-Aime, den Namen. Wii steht so nach seiner Aussage für das Englische Wort "we" und der Name für die neue Konsole soll lauten: "wii you". Also sozusagen eine Konsole nur für euch.
iPad aus Japan?
Gezeigt wurde auf der E3 Pressekonferenz leider noch nicht viel an Spiele und Grafikpower der neuen Wii U. Nur kurze Ausszüge aus Spielen wie ein neues Zelda in HD Grafik. Das beste aber an dieser neuen Konsole soll der Controller sein. Er besteht aus einem 6.3 Zoll Touchscreen und kann mit den Fernseher kommunizieren. Wie das aussieht, sieht man auch im Trailer unter diesem Beitrag.
Wir hoffen, dass die Wii U mehr Potenzial als seine Vorgänger Konsole hat und sich wieder den Core Gamern widmet. Wie gesagt, diese Konsole soll laut Reggie Fils-Aime für "uns" sein.
